Green tests on NetBSD

For a long time, mime type related tests in edelib were failing on our NetBSD buildbot node. Also, the part of this was known bug where tests would crash when given path was ended with "/" (the same applied for root path).

This issue is fixed now and we have "greens" on all buildbot nodes :)

Hooray! Good builds on NetBSD excite me. :)

When do you think we'll see β? I'd very much like to have a fully-functional EDE2 desktop installed soon, even if there are still a few bugs to work out.

Glad to see you here :)

I planned relese in September, but implementing XDG menu specification took longer than I expected. So, chances are that we will see beta in October :(

What steps are left to do? Have all existing components been ported from eFLTK? Are there new things that still need added?

Well, the panel is now semi functional; the main missing thing is window list handler, and that is my next thing in TODO.

After this, the only thing left on eFLTK will be window manager. Because rewrite will eat a lot of time, I'm planning to do it after beta release.

Yes, but that will be after beta release. Those things are mostly ede-*-conf's, a bunch of tiny applications to configure various desktop pieces.
